I support harmonizing people with what they find important. Defining your values, goals and uncovering your unique expression so you are aligned with a more authentic purpose. Strategies are more attainable through this new perspective. Together, we work towards you developing the skills of mindfulness, self compassion, creativity, possibility and overall emotional intelligence to create the condition for your thriving and empowerment.
I am in service to all whether Atheist, spiritually, religiously, philosophically, or scientifically focused. I have worked with a variety of clients from Yogic, Buddhist, Pagan, Shamanic, Eclectic, Women's Spirituality, Earth based, Catholic, Hindu, and to the Questioning.
I have a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Psychology, Graduate Level Spiritual Guidance Certificate, Member of Spiritual Directors International, Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator Training Certificate, Reiki Certificate. With my Mexica, Maya and Apache heritage, I remain connected with Native/Indigenous Wisdom through teachings with the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers, Native Elders, and Curanderas.
I am honored to have lead workshops for: Reimagine, where their mission is to spark community-wide exploration of death and celebration of life through creativity and conversation. I also joined a wonderful collaboration on Reimagine creating a poem entitled, "Grief is", as well as individual poem (page 61) in their commemorative poetry booklet. Cafekind, where they focus on kindness and empathy to build communities, uplift compassion in people, and offer opportunities to create a positive impact. Village Well, where a dynamic community gathers and promotes connection, empowerment and radical self love. I have experience as a Speaker, Retreat and Workshop Facilitator, Retreat coordinator, and a Teacher's Assistant at Sofia University (formerly known as the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology). As a visual artist, my art, as well as my writing, has been published in The Artists' Grief Deck: a deck of cards with art and prompts to support people through the grieving process. The project was created as a response to the great loss experienced through COVID. The Artists’ Grief Deck is a project of the Artists’ Literacies Institute (producer) and Adriene Jenik (creative producer). My art has also been published in "Presence" The International Journal of Spiritual Companionship. I also include visual art, writing and dance in my Creative Expression workshops. I incorporate my artwork in ceremony and altars through the inclusion of paintings, painted altar cloths & boxes, and sacred medicine jewellery.
My volunteer work with the non-profit agency, There With Care in Menlo Park, CA, continuously informs me about love and compassion. There With Care provides support services to families and children facing critical illness during medical crisis. I have experienced so much grace, and love from either a child or parent under the worst circumstance. It is an honor to accompany them on their journey.
